Deloitte named a worldwide leader in Industry Cloud Professional Services by IDC
NEW YORK, NY, USA, 29 August 2019—International Data Corporation (IDC) has ranked Deloitte a leader in their report entitled, IDC MarketShare: Worldwide Industry Cloud Professional Services 2019 Vendor Assessment. IDC recognizes Deloitte as a leader based on capabilities and strategies.
“Deloitte has extensive experience working with organizations and creating industry clouds that serve multiple clients,” said Zachary Rabel, Senior Research Analyst, Cloud, SaaS, and Industry Cloud at IDC and author of the report.

“To Deloitte, deep industry focused capabilities and solutions are in our DNA—Deloitte is leading the way helping clients reimagine and transform their products and capabilities to deliver competitive advantage,” says Ranjit Bawa, Deloitte US Cloud Leader. “Deloitte’s issue-led approach helps clients solve their most important challenges, powered by cloud and other transformative technologies.”
According to Rabel at IDC, “The industry cloud market is developing and growing fast, with dozens of new industry clouds emerging each year across many industries, including financial services, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, retail, energy, and even government. Within these industries, more than 500 industry clouds have already been created, generating over $8 billion in revenue. Professional services firms have the capabilities to help industry players in this market and some have built long-term strategies to do so as well.”
